Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe better known as Wande Coal is a Nigerian singer, song writer , dancer and entertainer born on the 18 of October 1985), born as Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe in Lagos Island, Lagos state, Nigeria, to Chief Ibukun Olufunto and Mrs Omolara Oluwayemisi Ojosipe. Wande Coal is the first child of a family of two children , he atttended his primary school education at Staff Nursery and Ijaniki Primary School, and his secondary education in Federal Government College Ijanikin in Lagos State .

He rounded up his primary and secondary education and later went to University of Lagos (Unilag), Lagos State, where he studied Curriculum Studies.

The singer Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe who is popularly addressed as Wande Coal entered the music scene in 2006 when he got signed by Mo’Hits, the label of Don Jazzy and D Banj. In his earlier days he was a dancer, but he started singing in a church. Wande Coal’a music is heavily influenced by R&B music but does little of rap music some times . He is known for combining his songs with African sounds and some Hiphop and he focus on love song .

Wande, a.k.a. Captain Mushin , like most great musicians started singing in their church choir back in the days. He started as a dancer in the Nigerian entertainment industry before he switched to singing . He has worked with many bigger artistes in Nigeria and abroad and he was featured on D’banj’s Rundown/Funk you up album on singles such as “Loke”, “tonosibe” and “why me”. Being signed to Mo’ Hits records , he has played a major role in the released CV (Curriculum Vitae) album. His first single of the CV album, “Ololufe”, has been described as one of the greatest love songs ever written by a Nigerian. He later released his debut album ‘Mushin to Mo’Hits which is one of the most accepted album in Nigeria today .
wande_coal_1The former Mo’ Hits allstars singer has worked with other Nigerian artists including Ikechukwu, Naeto C, Dr SID, D’Prince, Wizkid just to name a few. In 2012 Mo’Hits records was brought to an end following a fallout between record label Executives . Don Jazzy founded a new Record Label , Mavin Records and signed Wande Coal, Dr SID ,D’Prince and Tiwa Savage from 323 entertainment . In 2013, Wande Coal left Mavin Records to float his career himself and In October 2013, he released a single called “Baby Face”.

One of his most successful collaboration was with Patoranking on the song titled ‘My Woman, My everything’ and the video was dropped June 2015.
